My approach to therapy is rooted in CBT and the idea that changing the way we think about the world can make a positive impact on our lives. Additionally, I take a values approach from ACT so that each client’s treatment is individualized. I have specialized in treating eating disorders in the past and I am well-versed in DBT as well. Outside of the clinical terms, my approach to therapy is to be genuine. I believe in using sarcasm, humor, and irony to help discuss difficult topics because that reflects who I am outside of the office. I believe therapy should be something that you can look forward to despite the reason for needing services. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, PTSD, or you’re just going through a rough patch, I would love to help you navigate through the challenges of being a human.
