Lataura Bush received her BSW in 2010 from Mississippi State University and her MSW in 2019 from Middle Tennessee State University. She sat for her LMSW in October of 2020 and passed on the first try!!! Shortly after graduating, she started working in mental health and substance abuse and found her passion.
As a therapist, she believes that this process is a team collaboration between the therapist and client. She wants to create a safe place/warm environment, where her clients can reach their highest potential during their journey. She will be there to assist her clients in focusing on all aspects of their life and well-being (work/life balance, setting healthy boundaries, and relationships both personal and professional). Her area of interest in mental health includes: mood disorders, depression, anxiety and assisting people with personal traumas.
Lataura loves to utilize the strength and solution focused approach while assisting her clients in becoming the best versions of themselves. She want the journey of self-realization, empowerment, and strength to be a success for everyone involved.
In her free time, she loves to go out to brunch, shop, and spend time with her friends and family! She is thinking about getting a dog as well.
