Kytana Priebe, ATR-BC, LCPAT

Therapist

Kytana is delighted to bring the healing power of Art Therapy to Ellie Mental Health and join this incredible team. Since earning her masters from the George Washington University in 2018, Kytana worked in a medical hospital where she supported primarily adolescents through a variety of mental and physical health challenges. As a licensed Art Therapist, Kytana utilizes strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to ensure a safe and supportive environment for her clients to express themselves without judgement (no artistic ability required). Her passion lies in supporting adolesents and adults while they courageously face traumatic experiences and transform them to promote traumatic growth and reslience during their unique creative process. As a survivor herself, she draws from her experiences and ongoing mental health journey to inform her clinical practice and empower her clients. Outside of work, Kytana loves watching studio ghibli films, making art, and spending quality time with her wife and their dog, Sumi.
