I’m Kirstin Baker, PMHNP, and my path into psychiatry began with more than ten years as a registered nurse working in inpatient and community mental health. From that foundation, I learned the value of presence, patience, and practical skill, which continue to guide my work today.
As a nurse practitioner, I’ve focused on addiction medicine, treatment-resistant depression, and psychedelic-assisted care. These experiences shaped my belief that healing is rarely one-size-fits-all. I combine evidence-based medication management with integrative care, including lifestyle-based strategies, natural and nutritional supports, and cannabis education to help patients find what best fits their unique journey.
Every person carries strengths that can support their healing. My focus is on guiding those inner resources toward progress that is realistic, sustainable, and rooted in each person’s own path.
