Kira Hartgrove is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. She has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology and Child Development. For over 20 years, her passion has been helping children express themselves through play therapy. Children typically do not have the cognitive skills to verbally express themselves, and play therapy gives them the tools to understand and process their world. Kira has worked a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns including behavioral problems, ADHD, autism spectrum, divorce, depression, anxiety, grief, abuse, relational problems with peers and siblings, academic issues, trauma, developmental delays, aggression, abandonment, and disruptive behaviors. She also works to strengthen and promote the parent-child relationship utilizing CPRT (Child-Parent Relationship Training).
