Bio

Kimberly is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.  Clients who feel Kimberly will be a good fit for them can count on her being reliable, present, and a teammate in their therapeutic journey.  They will experience her motivations are sincere, she has a down-to-earth personality, and it is important to her to be transparent in communication.

She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She assists clients in recognizing how negative thought patterns impact emotions which then have an impact on behavior. The goal is to then work to challenge the automatic negative thoughts with more accurate healthy thoughts, gain insight into emotions, and become more mindful of behavior.

She utilizes Solution-Focused Therapy. She assists clients to look at the here and now.  She helps them to identify, grow in, and believe in their strengths to move forward with solutions to their life stressors.

She also utilizes Strength-Based Therapy.  The focus is on utilizing one’s internal strengths, resourcefulness, and resiliency to assist in working through life struggles.

Outside of work, Kimberly along with her spouse Andy love all things country life has to offer. They raise beef cattle, enjoy their horse, ATV rides, campfires, and the peacefulness.
