Kiersten aims to provide quality mental health services to children and young adults, especially to those who previously may not have had access. She understands that we are all doing our best, and sometimes, need a little help in navigating our daily lives. She will see you first as a person before helping you to become the version of yourself you aspire to be.
Kiersten joined the Ellie Team because their values match with hers – authenticity, acceptance, and compassion. She works from a Person-Centered approach and tailors therapy to the individual by incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy to meet your needs.
Having worked in outpatient, school-based, and telehealth settings, Kiersten has experience working with ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma amongst other concerns. Kiersten is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a BA in Psychology, minor in Human Development and Family Studies, and a MS in Counseling. When not working, Kiersten enjoys spending time with friends, going for walks, trying new restaurants, and reading in her free time.
