Kiela Hinson, MS

“I don’t know where home is, but I am on my way and I was hoping you’d walk with me.” – Harriet Selina

Kiela, a Clarksville native and self-proclaimed nerd, holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee’s only public Historically Black University, Tennessee State University. Her counseling career at Ellie Mental Health is marked by a strong commitment to multicultural counseling, welcoming clients from all backgrounds, including the military, LGBTQIA+, and KAP communities. Kiela utilizes various therapeutic modalities like ACT, CBT, and mindfulness to address individual client needs, with a primary focus on building an empathetic therapeutic bond for better outcomes.

When she’s not at work, Kiela enjoys rolling critical hits in Dungeons & Dragons with her friends, reading, board games, trivia nights, and studying psychology with her elderly cat, Xena who recently graduated with her very own Meowster’s degree. Whatever your therapeutic goals, Kiela is ready to walk with you as you build a fulfilling life that aligns with your personal values.
