Kayla Pengelski is a dedicated clinician with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She utilizes a holistic, strengths-based approach in therapy and values the importance of vulnerability and empowerment practices as an aid to wellness. Kayla observes that every person is unique in their human experiences, specifically as it relates to trauma and multicultural influences. Through this, she prioritizes safety and self-determination with all her clients to guide them towards positive outcomes. Kayla is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina and a graduate of Winthrop University. Kayla is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and serves as a Board approved Clinical Supervisor. Kayla has extensive experience in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, and familial traumas.
