Kayla (she/her) is a client-centered therapist and a systems-driven social worker who believes that who we are and how we are is shaped by our upbringing, identities, and the cultures we exist within. These influences can impact how we cope with stressors, interact with the world, behave in relationships, and approach therapy. Kayla strives to create a space that is grounded in safety, non-judgment, anti-oppression, authenticity, and empathy as a co-collaborator through the healing process.
Kayla has experience and training working with ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, family of origin relationships, parenting/caregiving, LGBTQ+ individuals and families, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
When Kayla is not working, she is looking for any excuse to get outside, spending time with her family, running, walking her dog, trying new restaurants with friends, reading nonfiction, and enjoying all Minneapolis has to offer.
