Katie is a compassionate therapist who loves hearing about each person’s unique story and what has led them to who they are today. Clients can expect to feel comfortable with Katie as she integrates a person-centered, attachment-based, humorous, and relational approach. Katie believes that each individual has the right to feel heard and supported through all of life’s experiences.
Before joining Ellie, Katie spent several years as a public school teacher. She is fascinated by brain development and completed her Master of Arts in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health. Through multiple field experiences, she realized that she enjoys working with people of all ages.
Katie hopes that you feel seen as she helps you link complex emotional experiences with how your brain processes information. She believes that building a foundation of trust, safety, and regulation are essential to further learning and development.
When Katie is not at work she enjoys games, restaurants, and belly laughs with her family and friends. Self-care for Katie often looks like getting cozy, watching tv, art projects, puzzles, dance, or yoga.
