Katie is a compassionate therapist who believes that everyone has the right to receive support when they are struggling. Her goal as a therapist is to hold the concerns clients feel ready to discuss in session and stand by them in the journey toward healing, mindfulness, and positive change. She believes that her clients are the experts in their lives and will approach each session with curiosity, empathy, and a passion for honoring everyone’s unique life experiences.
Katie offers a safe space for clients to navigate reflection and personal growth in a non-judgmental environment. She sees the best in her clients and believes everyone has the ability to reach their full potential. Operating from a person-centered approach, Katie values creativity and authenticity in her work and will use these to guide clients through self-exploration and discovery. She has also found that a little humor can go a long way in creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking her dog for walks along the river, and discovering new books, movies, and music to become obsessed with.
