Kathy is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is currently certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Kathy has a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a Master’s degree in counseling. After several years as an educator, Kathy began her counseling career, five years ago, as a child and adolescent counselor in an intensive behavioral health center. She also has experience with clients ranging in age from 4-65 working in Community Mental Health Center. Kathy believes offering a genuine, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients feel safe is imperative in therapy. She enjoys collaborating with clients from various backgrounds to improve balance in their lives. Kathy’s counseling methods include both Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques. Kathy utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed focus. Outside of work, Kathy loves spending time with her family and friends. In addition, she enjoys having a good cup of coffee, spending time with her dog, exercising, traveling, reading, cooking for others, and spending time at the beach.
