Katherine has experience working with couples, adolescents, and 65 plus. She also has experience working with concerns including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, ADHD, sexuality, and relational problems.
Katherine uses a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to therapy and aims to collaborate with the client to provide a tailored approach. She uses an eclectic approach by working with multiple different modalities that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, and DBT techniques. Implementing these evidence-based practices creates a therapeutic space that fosters personal growth and emotional resilience.
Katherine believes in client advocacy and applies cultural humility within her practice. She aims to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings, gather insight, and reach unique goals and needs.
