Meet Katelyn! An Art Therapy Intern on a mission to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. With a background as a licensed K-12 Art Teacher, she discovered that her true passion wasn’t just teaching art—it was helping kids use creativity to express themselves and navigate life’s challenges.
With over 13 years of experience working with children, including teaching in elementary and middle schools, Katelyn brings a nurturing, supportive presence to every session. She blends warmth, humor, and authenticity to create deep, meaningful connections with her clients. Her approach is tailored to each individual—because no two kids are alike! She uses a person-centered foundation, incorporating Adlerian and Gestalt techniques to foster growth, mindfulness, and self-accountability.
When she’s not guiding young minds through the power of art, you’ll find her spending time with her growing family, hiking, making art, and exploring new places. She’s also a big fan of video games—especially Animal Crossing and Zelda: Breath of the Wild!
