Kate Pavuk, Intern LMHC

Intern Therapist

Kate Pavuk is an educator-turned-counselor, who will complete her CACREP-accredited Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August, 2026. She is thrilled to be doing her internship with Ellie, and she is interested in working with anyone who wants to heal and transform in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Kate’s specialization and interests lie in the realms of trauma and C-PTSD, anxiety and depression, parenting issues, and working with major life changes. She plans to continue her education post-license in more specific, trauma-informed modalities, potentially including Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Jungian, and Psychedelic Therapy. Flexible, direct, and respectful of each unique individual’s needs, Kate’s current theoretical frameworks lean towards person-centered, psychodynamic, and acceptance and commitment therapies, because of their potential to support individual healing and empowerment.
