Kara is a tenacious therapist who leads with calmness, compassion, fairness and equality. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience, she believes in the deep connection between the mind & body. Kara specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, sleep disorders, addictions, and eating disorders for children (age 11+) and adults. She maintains a variety of certifications, such as EMDR, CBT-I (for insomnia), and motivational interviewing. In her free time, Kara volunteers for a dachshund rescue group, collects memes, buys an overabundance of nail polish, and spends time with her two senior dachshunds, Layla & Grace.
