Kaia (she/they) is a Registered Social Work Intern who graduated with her Master’s in Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University. She began her social work career working with children and families, and has clinical experience with inpatient, partial hospitalization, medical social work, chronic illness, and end of life. Kaia is committed to co-creating a judgment-free space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, discuss obstacles, and build on their strengths. She utilizes a combination of therapeutic approaches including trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Narrative, Existential, and Mindfulness. In her off time, Kaia enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and loving on animals.
