Julie is an energetic therapist who believes we are all equipped with tools to navigate through life’s twists and turns; sometimes we just need a guide to help us use them along the way. Julie primarily utilizes a solution-focused approach to therapy, as well as motivational interviewing and DBT interventions.
Julie started her career focusing on Addictions Counseling before finishing her Masters in Counseling Psychology. Julie is currently working toward her Professional Clinical Counseling Licensure. Her previous experience includes Community Based Mental Health Skills Work, Hospital-Based Brief Intervention Counseling, as well as Outpatient Counseling for adults and teens.
Julie is a firm believer of healing with humor. You can expect a few lame jokes to come up here and there.
When she is not at work, you could expect to find Julie watching pro-wrestling, gaming, doing an escape room with friends, and other “nerd stuff.” Julie also spends as much free time as she can playing with her “kids”: fur babies and human children alike.
Julie is a clinician at our Virtual Clinic and only sees clients via telehealth.
