Josephine (she/her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience utilizing Mindfulness-Based techniques to address anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and PTSD. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelor’s in psychology and went on to achieve her Master of Social Work from New Mexico State University. She acknowledges and embraces the cultural, linguistic, spiritual, religious, and societal differences between all walks of life. Having been in the field for five years she has already worked with a wide variety of populations including children, adolescents, adults, seniors, unhoused, those in recovery, previously incarcerated, groups, ethnic minorities, and LGBTQIA+. She understands the depth of courage it takes to begin the healing process and believes that each person, each human, has the right to explore their journey and have a safe space to ask those difficult questions.
