Jordanne Howell-Walton completed her master’s in clinical mental health counseling with special interests in the LGBTQIA+ community, adolescents, and sex therapy. While pursuing her master’s at Andrews University, Jordanne worked extensive with children and adolescents with autism, individuals addressing gender-related issues and transitioning, counseling and support to parents of families of children and adolescents transitioning, and children and teens part of blended families and divorced homes. In practice Jordanne is experienced in motivational interviewing, sand tray therapy, and person-centered therapy. Jordanne is a firm believer that a fundamental part of the healing experience is the relationship between client and therapist. Together the client and therapist work together to create a safe space to do the heavy lifting. Let’s do the heavy lifting together.
