Jennifer O’Connor, MSW, LGSW

Therapist

Jen is a licensed graduate social worker (LGSW) with a passion for helping people navigate life’s most difficult challenges. For over 10 years, Jen has worked with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness, providing supportive services in a community setting. This experience has deeply informed the way Jen shows up for clients—with empathy, honesty, and a strong belief in their ability to heal and grow.

Jen’s approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based practices, especially Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). These tools can be incredibly effective for managing symptoms of anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. Jen works collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and create real, lasting change.

Whether feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready to explore what healing could look like, Jen is here to walk with you. Jen offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and move at your own pace.

When Jen is not working, she focuses on creative outlets that include music, art, fishing, and traveling. She enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her puppies.
