Jenna uses compassion, creativity, and humor in her work with clients. She primarily works with children and adolescents and believes each child deserves a place for their voice to be heard. Jenna strives to create a therapeutic environment in which children and teenagers can feel safe and supported. Jenna individualizes treatment for each client and their family in order to meet the needs of the child. Using modalities of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and taking a systems approach, Jenna involves families in their child’s treatment so that the child is supported both in the therapy space as well as at home. Jenna has a special interest in working with children and families navigating foster care and adoption and is currently completing the permanency and adoption competency certificate through the University of Minnesota.
Outside of work Jenna enjoys being active by playing sports, hiking, and paddle boarding. She enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her pets.
