Jeff Ray, MS, LMHC

Clinic Director

Jeff is a licensed mental health counselor with over 33 years of counseling experience. He has worked in a variety of settings including acute hospitalization, residential treatment, community mental health, agency services, and private practice. He is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, infant mental health, grief work, ADHD treatment, and child and adolescent treatment. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families.

Jeff enjoys helping clients develop and practice new coping and problem-solving skills to better manage their emotions and improve their functioning. He works with clients and families to identify and build on their strengths and to find ways to improve the quality of their lives. He is open, honest, and genuine in his approach to helping others. Clients and families should expect to be able to develop skills to better manage depression, anxiety, anger, and stress.

When not working, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to concerts and festivals, and exploring new places and activities. He also enjoys watching his beloved Michigan State Spartans on tv in his man cave.
