Jaden McGhee, t-LMHC

Therapist

Jaden is a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC) that recently graduated from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program at University of Northern Iowa. He has 1 year of clinical counseling experience and 7 years experience working with individuals with disabilities as a community assistant for Full Circle Services. Jaden is eager to build a caseload and begin his career helping individuals with the various stressors of life. Jaden has experience working with individuals with disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, and serious mental illness. He views therapy as a way for people to have the safe space, listening ear, and support that is needed while learning new skills to cope with life’s difficult times.

Jaden strives to make his clients feel understood and heard when navigating life transitions, stressors, and daily life. He feels that therapy is not just about the negatives that we are dealing with and therefore finds it important to give the space to celebrate the good things going on in life and celebrate them accordingly. Jaden uses approaches from various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, etc. and is very excited to work with clients on their strengths and joining them on their journey of improved wellness.

Outside of work Jaden loves to spend time with his family, play video games, watches many sports, going to farmer’s markets, visiting museums, and travels around trying new foods.
