Iris Traylor, Resident in Counseling


Iris graduated from Radford University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Iris has over 2 years of previous experience working in a hospital setting at eating disorder treatment facilities, as a counselor for college students, as well as, intensive in home with children and adolescents. Iris works with all ages, race, ethnicity, religion and gender identities using a non-judgmental approach. Her specialties are focused on eating disorders, depression, self-harm, anxiety disorders and mood disorders. Iris is here to help you through everyday stress using a holistic approach. She focuses on techniques such as CBT, person-centered, DBT, solution focused, and mindfulness in therapy sessions. Iris is dedicated to helping individuals discover their version of a life worth living. Iris wants her clients to feel empowered to live the life they envision while achieving freedom to overcome their emotional hardships. Iris wants to help guide you to becoming the best version of yourself. Iris looks forward to working together!
