Iris Hudson, LCMHC-A


Iris is a LCMHC-A who is passionate about serving clients through empowerment, advocacy, authenticity, and empathy. This is why she chose to work at Ellie! With a background in psychology, advocacy, and clinical mental health counseling, Iris is passionate about supporting adolescents, adults, and couples as they navigate through their life’s journeys.

Iris utilizes a variety of evidence-based practices including, but not limited to, EDMR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gottman Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has experience working with adolescents and adults facing concerns with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, relationship concerns, and identity acceptance. Iris is both passionate about and skilled at working with persons with disabilities, neurodivergence, our LGBTQIA+ community, and multiracial individuals.

When Iris is not in her office, you can find her making crafts, spending time with people who fill her cup, trying new food spots, and relaxing with her animals!
