Imani Mahdi is a Licensed Masters of Social Work who specializes working with children, adults and families. She has experience working with clients impacted by anxiety, depression, neurological disorders, communication difficulties, defiance, school related challenges, and abuse/neglect. Also, families or individuals involved with or relating to the adoption and the foster care system. She assists families and children with obtaining skills focused on conflict resolution, problem-solving, self-empathy, and relaxation techniques. Through an engagement, trauma-sensitive, adoption-competent lens, she assists families and children to begin the healing process by creating an open space to provide change.
