Hello, I’m Holli, and I’m delighted to meet you! As fall unfolds, I cherish the cozy scents of wood-burning stoves and the vibrant colors that paint our landscapes with reds, yellows, and oranges. This season inspires reflection and encourages us to shed what no longer serves us, and I invite you to join me on this journey.
I’m a mother of three boys and have spent the last decade as a school psychologist. My role involves observing students during assessments to identify learning disabilities, social-emotional challenges, behavioral issues, and adaptive skill deficits. Collaboration with parents and teachers is key to fostering successful outcomes for students, and building strong relationships with families is foundational to my work.
Beyond assessments, I offer counseling for those grappling with social-emotional and behavioral difficulties. I’ve developed expertise in various therapeutic approaches, including Integrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Our sessions focus on understanding how negative thoughts affect emotions and behaviors, incorporating mindfulness and radical acceptance practices. I believe in cultivating a strong moral compass and positive energy within ourselves and our communities. By giving of ourselves, we invite kindness in return. Effective communication, empathy, and forgiveness are vital for nurturing healthy relationships. To connect authentically with others, we must first appreciate ourselves. Together, let’s embark on a path toward understanding, growth, and self-acceptance.
