Heather Rivera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that earned her degree from USF. Heather started out working for a non-profit built for veterans with severe trauma and traumatic brain injuries. She then redirected her focus to working with children and helping them navigate through their day-to-day activities and their mental health. Heather is proud to offer face-to-face as well as telehealth sessions. Heather uses a compilation of CBT, DBT, art and play therapy techniques, and person-centered focus therapies. Heather is a military veteran who enjoys working with military veterans, military members and their families. Heather specializes in the fields of trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and ADHD.
