Hannah graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Hannah’s background working in a medical setting with people of all ages where she encountered individuals struggling with grief, trauma, substance use, health concerns, depression, anxiety, and sudden life changes. Hannah also has spent time working with college students helping them to navigate life transitions, relationship struggles, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. Through these experiences, Hannah understands the importance of trauma informed care and creating a non-judgemental space for clients to process their lived realities. A fundamental part of her role as counselor is to build a therapeutic relationship that brings empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to the forefront. Hannah’s client-centered focus involves an approach that pulls from different theories to build upon client strengths to meet their goals and build a meaningful life.
