Gina is a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
Gina is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of Ohio. Gina has several years of experience working in outpatient community mental health and private practice settings, working with children and their families, adolescents, couples, adults, and individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, and in Long-Term Nursing Home facilities.
She strongly believes in using a person-centered and integrative eclectic therapeutic approach to tailor to the personalized and individualized needs of the client. Common techniques used include: CBT, DBT, Positive and Strength-Based Psychology, Humanistic, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based therapeutic approaches to foster overall well-being and personal growth. Gina is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to the clients served.
When she’s not in the office, Gina enjoys cheering on her favorite sports teams, singing karaoke, camping, ghost hunting, and spending quality time with her loveable and energetic mini-Golden Doodle, Brutus.
