Fakira Wahid, LCMHC S

Clinic Supervisor

Hello, I am Fakira Wahid, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor with thousands of hours of counseling and supervisory experience. I hold a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and have had the privilege of working with men, women, and children of all ages. My professional background spans individual, couples, family, and group counseling, as well as training and supervising emerging clinicians.

My approach is eclectic, with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As an action-oriented clinician, I believe meaningful outcomes speak for themselves. I draw on evidence-based practices, programs, and interventions—proven through peer-reviewed research and evaluation—to provide clients with the most effective care possible.
I have extensive experience treating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, impulsivity, oppositional and behavioral issues, substance use, self-esteem concerns, boundary setting, infidelity, personality disorders, workplace stress, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Above all, I believe that seeking support is a courageous first step. It is an honor to walk alongside clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and lasting change. I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families find the care, support, and guidance they need to thrive.
