Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with her MSW from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Since graduating, Emily has worked as a case manager for adults experiencing homelessness and as a special education social worker for Aurora Public Schools. Emily has experience working with children and teens with anxiety, autism, ADHD, and trauma. Emily utilizes a solution-focused and person-centered approach and treats all clients with unconditional, positive regard. She incorporates play and art therapy techniques, CBT and trauma-focused interventions. Emily is currently working on her certification to become a Registered Play Therapist.
Outside of the office, Emily loves to throw clay on the pottery wheel and go on hikes with her dog Eden.
