Elizabeth is an open minded therapist with nearly two decades of experience working with families and children in the mental health field. She validates her clients experiences and feelings while fostering a non judgemental, authentic environment. Elizabeth has learned to use humor (when appropriate) to put others at ease, and share her positive attitude. She has a natural talent for making others feel welcome, heard, and valued. She uses a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based approach to reach clients where they are at emotionally. Elizabeth feels it is an honor to get to know her clients in the therapy space.
She has experience treating depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, suicidal ideation, mood dysregulation, and trauma. She has worked with clients experiencing adoption/foster care, life transitions, parenting difficulties, divorce, grief, and self esteem struggles.
Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, indulging in true crime entertainment, and learning something new from documentaries and podcasts.
