Eli Horowitz

Intern

Eli Horowitz is a trained philosopher and published author with many years of experience as a mentor and tutor. Here at Ellie Mental Health, his goal is to offer support and guidance to those who are looking to (re)discover confidence, pride, courage, curiosity, beauty, and all of the other things that make life worth living.

As a clinical intern, he uses an approach that combines motivational, solution-oriented, and cognitive-behavioral techniques in a way that is tailored to meet the needs of the specific individuals with whom he works. Eli’s range of mental health interests includes, but is not limited to: depression and anxiety; ADHD and autism; acute and complex trauma; life goals and transitions; career and financial issues; sex, sexuality, and gender; race, ethnicity, and religion; romantic, family, and other relationship difficulties; chemical and behavioral addiction; and worries related to life, death, and other existential quandaries.
