Everyone has experienced pain and disappointment in their life. For some of us that pain is keeping us from the life we want. You may have learned to cope in ways that are no longer helpful and have become “stuck.” Patti considers it an honor to hear your story and help you navigate what is keeping you from moving forward.
Patti is straightforward and compassionate. She can be irreverent and often uses humor to help with the healing process. Therapy is hard work. We all need to laugh sometimes! She is trained in EMDR and DBT but utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you move forward. She has experience working with depression, anxiety abuse, trauma and other life issues.
Patti believes the relationship with your therapist is so important to the healing process. She considers it a privilege to be a therapist. She provides a space in which you feel seen and heard. She will go at your pace, working on what you feel is important. Her goal is to help you develop a sense of contentment and peace.
When not at work Patti may be “creating” in her craft room or watching reality TV!
