Debra is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has experience treating a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and schizophrenia. She has worked in a hospital setting, outpatient clinic and in a community mental health setting. She values getting to know her patient by active listening and with a nonjudgmental attitude as this promotes respect and opens the door for communication and understanding of the impact mental health symptoms on one’s quality of life and function. She believes in a provider-patient partnership that utilizes safe, effective, evidence-based treatments that meet identified goals and improve well-being, happiness and daily function.
When not at work, Deb enjoys being with her family and friends and enjoys biking, hiking, and being near water- be it an ocean, a lake or a pool! She also enjoys following sports, especially the Vikings and MN Gopher teams.
