Dawn Soriano is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Idaho. She has a BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus which she earned while living abroad with her husband, a retired Air Force Firefighter, and their son. She received her Master’s Degree remotely from Simmons School of Social Work out of Boston while her family was stationed in Georgia. Dawn has worked with diverse populations with many different mental health challenges, but her passion is working with trauma based issues. She approaches treatment with a “meet the client where they are at” approach and believes the client knows themself better than anyone, and uses Motivational Interviewing and CBT to assist the client with solving their own problems and begin the healing process. Dawn loves animals and will never say “no” when asked if she would like to see a picture of your pet. Dawn always wants to see the picture of your pet! Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband of 26 years, their 25 year old son, her best friend of 34 years and her family as well as Dawn’s 4 dogs and 2 bunnies.
