I have a compassionate style and a focus on people’s strengths in my work. I see therapy as a partnership to help clients increase skills, make progress toward ‘better’, whatever that might be for a client, and move toward healing.
Over my 24 years in the field, I have worked with clients on a variety of issues such as stress, life transitions/adjustments, behavioral problems, family problems, trauma, and personal mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression. I am experienced working with adults, adolescents and children.
I utilize an eclectic approach in treatment including applying EMDR treatment, Cognitive/Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Family Systems, and Mindfulness approaches to assist people. I am Certified in EMDR, and Certified in adolescent and adult trauma-informed therapy.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening as well as snowboarding, hiking and camping with my family.
