Danny Ross, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

Danny Ross is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Clinical Social Work from New Mexico Highland University. Before becoming a therapist, Danny built a diverse professional background, serving nearly 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, 17 years in the communications field, and 12 years with the Department of Homeland Security.

As a Clinical Social Worker, Danny has extensive experience working with children (ages 8–12), adolescents (12–17), and adults (18+). He specializes in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, abuse and neglect, domestic violence, self-esteem and self-worth issues, stress management, family and relationship challenges, veteran concerns, and first responder mental health. His therapeutic approach is person-centered, problem-focused, and solution-oriented.

Danny utilizes evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s needs, including:

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)

His goal is to help individuals identify and understand the root causes of their challenges while developing effective strategies for long-term well-being. Danny believes that while symptoms may not always be within a person’s control, they can be managed successfully, allowing individuals to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. He is committed to guiding clients on their journey toward healing and resilience.

Outside of his practice, Danny enjoys spending time with his wife of 40 years, his grandchildren, cooking, baking, and golfing whenever possible.
