Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Danielle Gamble is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Ellie Mental Health. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Health Psychology at Virginia State University where she researched relationships between childhood maltreatment, mental health and cognition in college students. Dr. Gamble has a diverse clinical background, having provided therapeutic and psychological assessment services in various settings throughout her doctoral training. Her therapeutic orientation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). However, she takes an integrative approach by incorporating other modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), allowing her to tailor treatment to meet the diverse needs of each person.

Dr. Gamble is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and their families, helping them navigate the unique challenges that arise during these pivotal stages of life. She understands the complexities of adolescence and young adulthood and is dedicated to providing support that fosters growth, resilience, and open communication within the family unit. She also enjoys working with older children and pre-teens, offering guidance as they develop the tools necessary to manage emotional, social, and behavioral challenges. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where both individuals and families can thrive.
