Clinic Supervisor

Connie Horne, MA, LCMHCS, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and supervisor who has dedicated her career to creating safe, affirming spaces for healing and growth. She earned her Master’s in Community Counseling from Governors State University in 2010 and has since cultivated extensive experience in facilitating groups, grief counseling, and career counseling.

Connie is trained in gender-affirming care and serves as a strong ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, bringing both professional expertise and personal commitment to inclusivity. With knowledge of kink and poly communities, she approaches her work with openness, cultural competency, and respect for diverse identities and lifestyles.

In addition to her counseling practice, Connie has served as a foster parent and hospice volunteer, experiences that have deepened her compassion and broadened her understanding of resilience, loss, and human connection.

Outside of her professional life, Connie enjoys spending time with her family and pets, attending comedy shows and live concerts, and competing in billiards.
