Bio

Claire has worked as a case manager, therapist, supervisor, manager, and director (!!) in a variety of settings in mental health, as well as in a variety of places in the U.S. including the west coast, the southwest, and the east coast (though grew up here in good old St Paul). Her clinical work has been with younger and older adults; her managerial work has been with community and recovery-oriented teams delivering both in-home and milieu-based services. In all of her diverse work roles, she centers herself in the values of collaboration, authentic connection, dignity, and respect. She likes to see challenges as “puzzles to solve” vs “problems” and very much embraces the concept of a “growth mindset.”
Communities she has a particular commitment to, both personally and professionally, include: LGBTQIA+, bi/multi-racial POC individuals, and immigrants. In her time away from work, you will find her outside among the trees, basking in the dog park (with her dog, of course), and striving to pull a perfect espresso shot.
