Cindy Muggli, MSW

Therapist

Cindy has been a licensed social worker since 1998. She often uses a family systems perspective, which suggests that each individual is shaped by past and present interactions with family. She also uses cognitive behavioral techniques such as mindfulness and motivational interviewing. She values humor, integrity, compassion, and life-long learning. Her work is her passion, and she strives to create rapport and trust with her clients. She celebrates clients as they meet goals and achieve new skills.

Cindy has experience working with people of all ages, couples, adults, and children. She has worked with people aged 65 and over, and people with disabilities. Family members such as siblings, children, and grandchildren were usually involved. Her interests include couples counseling, trauma, ADHD, and tele-health. She has worked in nursing homes as a director of social services, in hospice and county case management, and most recently provided virtual psychotherapy services for clients at Safe Harbor Behavioral Care.

When not working, Cindy is a live-in caretaker for her mother. She has three dogs that also keep her busy. Her favorite hobby is working on family history. She has a family tree of over 200,000 people.
