Christina Oakes, MSW (She/Her)

Therapist

Christina is a compassionate and engaging therapist who approaches her work with warmth, curiosity, and humor. She believes therapy should feel like a safe and supportive space—one where clients can feel genuinely seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

Christina provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and also works with couples and families. She draws from collaborative and strengths-based models including Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy, while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs. Christina is especially passionate about supporting clients with identity exploration, relational challenges, emotional insight, and the everyday complexities of mental health.

Known for her thoughtful presence and direct yet approachable style, Christina aims to build meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster trust, connection, and change. She brings creativity and adaptability into her sessions, meeting clients wherever they are and working together to clarify goals and move forward.

Outside the therapy room, Christina enjoys spending time outdoors—hiking, skiing, surfing, or relaxing at the beach. She loves cooking, trying new restaurants, and winding down with yoga or pilates. A lifelong New Englander and local sports fan, Christina has a background in lacrosse and soccer and enjoys connecting with clients who share an interest in sports, movement, or animals – especially dogs.
