Christina Fields, LCSW

Therapist

She/hers

Christina has years of experience working in community-based mental health, hospital psychiatry, and child welfare settings, providing family therapy and individual support to individuals throughout the lifespan. She has led Adventure Therapy Groups for youth and has a primary focus and specialty working with children and families who have experienced trauma and/or are living with severe mental illness. Additionally, Christina has extensive experience working with complex family dynamics, whether you or a family member are struggling with addiction, divorce, blending families, adoption or kinship placement, domestic violence, and/or abuses. The flexibility required of community-based and hospital services has allowed Christina to practice a client-first approach to therapeutic support, creating a judgement-free space for processing while gently guiding and challenging you, when appropriate. She understands the foundational role of trust in the therapeutic relationship and respect the time that it can take to build that trust with each new client.
