Christa is a Middle Tennessee native and a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her Master’s of Social Work. She brings significant experience to her practice, helping individuals navigate challenges such as religious trauma, substance abuse, grief and loss, attachment difficulties, and life transitions for young adults. Her approach integrates CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Mindfulness, while incorporating her deep interest in the neurological aspects of therapy. Christa is also a Certified Yoga Instructor with a disciplined yoga practice. Outside of her work, Christa is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, camping, biking, and spending time on the water. A lifelong admirer of Dolly Parton, Christa holds tightly to one of her favorite lyrics: “Good lord, have mercy on a country girl, trying to make a living in a rhinestone world. It’s hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world. ”Above all, Christa is driven by a deep belief that everyone deserves to be truly seen and valued. She is honored to walk alongside her clients on their journey toward healing and growth.
