Chris Bordelon, LCSWA

Therapist

Chris received his undergraduate degree from Coker University, where he played collegiate soccer for 4 years. Returning home to Louisiana shortly after, Chris received his Masters in Social Work from LSU. During his time back home, Chris worked at LSU as a sports intern therapist. Chris was given the great opportunity to work closely with Olympic level and future professional athletes. In his practice, Chris utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Person-Centered therapy. Chris is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker associate in the state of NC. He came to Ellie – Charlotte because of our values such as Authenticity, Humor, and, most of all, Compassion. He wants to make sure his clients feel safe and heard while also bringing a new and different approach to mental health. Chris really appreciates how Ellie takes care of their clinicians to make sure they are able to provide the best care possible to their clients and community.
