Chris Adams, M.Ed., Resident in Counseling

Therapist

Right now Chris is available primarily via telehealth, adding flexibility and the privacy of your own space to your therapy perks.

Chris has their Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William Mary. They started their career working in Juvenile Detention and then went on to work with alcohol and drug use affected populations. She is passionate about equity, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Therapy is a journey and you’re taking the first steps toward something new just by being here. Chris sees themselves as less of a guide on your journey and more like an interpreter. They seek to help translate your surroundings to hopefully make the road ahead a little easier to see, whether this is your first time seeing a therapist or the hundredth!

Chris is a proud dog mom to three amazing pooches and also has a pet snake! When she isn’t working, she’s writing, doing crafts, or playing board games with their friends and family.
